Yay! Another 10 on 10. Anymore it seems like this has been the only type of blogging I do on a regular basis! I guess it's good to check in at least once a month and see what's happening with the boys. We have had a busy summer!
Last week, Grandma Pam accompanied us to Smallwood's Harvest. It's very hard for me to take both boys anywhere like that by myself, because Nick requires so much attention just to maintain his safety, that I feel like Milo gets left out a lot. So, it was so great to have Grandma along for the trip!
After swings, petting zoo, and a visit to the duck pond at Smallwood's, we headed to swimming lessons. Milo was the only one signed up for his class, so he had private lessons for 2 weeks! His swimming teacher Garrett was so awesome. He and Milo seemed to have a lot of fun.
Later in the day, I was clipping Milo's toenails, and he said, "ouch, you're hurting me, that's my sore toe". So I looked closer at his toe on the bottom side of it and saw that it looked quite red and swollen. We were planning to go to Lake Roosevelt for a weekend of boating and beach camping, so I thought we should go to the Dr. right away to see if Milo needed treatment of some sort to clear up what looked like an infection in his toe. So we ended up with an unplanned visit to the Dr., followed by dinner at McDonald's, since by then it had gotten so late in the day.
Milo ended up on antibiotics for a week, but he handled the whole thing like a champ. He even indulged his mother for some golden hour photos when we pulled in the driveway at the end of the day:)
